Bigger is Better: The BIG Bearing design directly addresses the leading cause of failure and is engineered to handle tough commercial conditions that destroys smaller standard bearings.
Reduces Slippage: Tough jobs cause standard clutches to slip or micro-slip, generating heat that melts bearing grease. HD Switch solves this by using higher torque to ensure a stronger grip, preventing slippage and overheating.
Virtually Indestructible: Forged and machined from solid steel. The competition’s “formed” pulleys are made of thin metal and can be easily damaged. Even a small nick in a pulley rotating at 3,600 RPMs will wear the belt with every rotation.
Rebuildable Design: The pulley bearing takes the most punishment and is almost always the first to fail. The competition’s “throw away” design crimps the bearing in, making it impossible to replace. Our bigger bearing is replaceable and uses C3 clearances and high temperature grease. Bigger and Better!
Cooler Operating Temperature: Clutches Run Hot! Competitive clutches typically operate at about 220??F. The HD Switch’s proprietary composite coil is designed to run at 175??F. “Cool Coil” replaces traditional plastic with a proprietary composite material that allows heat to escape.
